Shanice Beckford-Norton is captain of the London Lions, and despite only being in her 20’s, remains one of the most decorated players in the Women’s British Basketball League (WBBL). Shanice wants more girls to realise that “being a professional athlete is not some far-fetched dream and is something that they can actually achieve”

Slawn

Continuing our year round celebration of diverse trailblazers, we are spotlighting Olaolu Akeredolu-Ale, better known as Slawn or Olaolu Slawn. The British-Nigerian designer and artist has made waves through his caricatures, fashion integration and most recently, his art collaboration with Central Cee that was purchased by Kim Kardashian. In 2023, Slawn became the youngest person to design the Britannia statuette for the annual BRIT awards. In this video, Kick Game spend 24 hours with the man of the moment as he prepares for his historic solo exhibition launch.

Young Eman

At only 19, Young Eman has cultivated a community of thousands of global fans drawn to his distinct and edgy sound, creating a buzz that is reminiscent of an emerging Playboy Carti. Based between Sheffield and London, Eman has been working hard to establish himself in the industry with a standout performance on KESH’s Foundation FM show alongside Lancey Foux, Len, Teebo, JeffGRV and Daisy May Be Fake. Eman describes his main goal being to make his listeners feel an ‘endless euphoria’.
